U/15 Division 1 Killorglin 1-5 Inter
One nil down after 7 minutes, and Inter were struggling badly. Missing a couple of players and playing against a very defensive Killorglin side meant Inter were in trouble. After 20 minutes, something clicked and the football started to flow, with the inter back 4 keeping the ball really well. Eoin Downing and Matthew Teahan were excellent at moving the ball around. The second half was a different story. Tadgh O’Siochriu put Dylan O’Connor through and he was fouled for a penalty 1-1. A good passing move (10 passes) saw Ben Crowley, Tadgh O’Siochriu and Cuan Foley put Dylan in for 2-1. A handball gave us another penalty for Dylan’s hat-trick. Tadgh got the 4th after a Daniel Fitzpatrick assist. And Dylan O’Connor nearly burst the net from 30 yards for 5-1.

Denny Ladies League
Inter Kenmare 3-3 Tralee Dynamos
On Sunday last the Tralee ladies made the trip to Kenmare for the second meeting of these two teams this season. First game finished in 2-2 draw in Tralee. The game started a little frantic and it took the Kenmare ladies a while to settle down and were very unlucky 20 minutes in not to have scored when a lovely pass from Michelle O’Sullivan was just a stretch too far for the in running Karina O’Connor. But then the Tralee ladies were starting to dominate the middle of the field and a long range shot put them 1-0 in front at the break. The second half started like the first half finished and before long Tralee were dominating all over the field and went 3-0 in front. However the Kenmare ladies dug deep and were not giving up, they put pressure on all over the field and then Michelle O’Sullivan was brought down in the box and she slotted home the penalty. This gave Kenmare a renewed vigour and within minutes Michelle went through and goal again after a lovely pass from Linda Twomey to make the score line 3-2 with 15 minutes left. Kenmare kept the pressure up after this and a nice slip pass from Aoife Browne to Geraldine Cahalane was finished expertly to the back of the net making the score 3-3, which was how it finished after both teams tried desperately to get the winning goal.
