Treasure found in Kenmare!

The Family Treasure Hunt organised by McSweeney Pharmacy on May 30th was a great success. Clues were announced on the Francis Jones Show on Radio Kerry and were also on McSweeney Pharmacy’s Facebook page.
The clues revealed the hiding places of the twenty five treasures. Each treasure contained a secret code and when this code was handed in at
Kenmare Shopping Centre treasure finders received a fantastic goodie bag and were entered into a draw, where they could win fantastic prizes. Lots of families participated and there were both adults and children running about Kenmare hunting for treasures. In the end twenty treasures out of twenty five were found, all of which were hidden in Kenmare.
The big draw took place at 2pm in Kenmare Shopping Centre with
Catherine Hughes of McSweeney Pharmacy giving out the prizes. Katie Cronin won the first prize of €500, after finding the treasure hidden in a tree near Real World Combat & Fitness, and Ciara Riney, hunting with her family, won the second prize of €300. Other prize winners included Jodie Murphy €200, Sarah Taylor Murphy’s SuperValu voucher, Finn Murphy voucher for Davitts Restaurant, Dennis Cronin a family cruise from Star Outdoors, Mark Foley Kenmare Ice Cream voucher, Killian Daly Lacoste perfume gift set, Sean Murphy Hugo Boss Giftset and a Lampe Berger home fragrance was won by Martin Riney.
McSweeney Pharmacy would like to thank all who took part, it was a great day and everyone had lots of fun. See you next year!
