Dennison Design scoop top award at Kerry Women in Business ceremony

The Connect Kerry Magazine and Lee Strand Women in Business awards ceremony was held at the wonderful Ballyroe Heights Hotel in Tralee on Friday 5th June. The awards recognised the achievements of businesswomen throughout Kerry and there were 12 categories in total ranging from fashion to technology. An independent judging panel of Caroline McEnery of the HR Suite, Dr Mary McCaffrey of the Scotia Clinic; Breda O’Dwyer, Manager Ceed at IT Tralee and Teresa Higgins Walker, representing Lee Strand selected 10 finalists from all the nominated businesses and then had the unenviable task of selecting just one business from each category, with the winners announced on the night of the Gala Dinner. Dennison Design won The Lee Strand Connect Kerry Women in Technology Award in very stiff competition. Michael Healy-Rae was guest speaker and the event MC was Susan Hayes Culleton.
Dennison Design’s successes continued two weeks later when Jessica won the Listowel Food Fair All-Ireland Food Photography competition with a great shot of Kenmare Select Salmon prepared by Mark Doe at a demonstration.
