Tidy Towns triumph again!
Congratulations to the hardworking Tidy Town’s team of people that keep Kenmare looking so well all year round. The hard work was rewarded recently with another Gold medal to add to their already impressive collection of awards.
It is not just the town that looks pristine but the surrounding areas that also benefit from the Tidy Town’s team of volunteers’ care and attention. Every week come hail or shine the team gather in the Square to work their way around town to pick up litter, paint fences, railings and walls, trim back foliage and shrubs, sweep, clean, weed and where necessary mow and dig.
A BIG thank you from all of us and comhghairdeas gach duine.
