The loss of Bill Topham has knocked our community badly. He was a great man and did so much for the town. In dreadful weather during last November he and Jarek put up the Christmas lights. We were very grateful then and now look upon the lights as a lasting memory to Bill, a man who was much loved by all who knew him and who taught us all the true meaning of community spirit. R.I.P. Bill.
Our heartfelt sympathies go to Geraldine and the family.

Strictly Come Dancing for The Irish Cancer Society.
Margaret McCarthy and Dan McCarthy did Kenmare proud as they danced the waltz to perfection in the recent Strictly Come Dancing competition in Killarney. A great night was had by all and it was made even more special knowing the event was in aid of the Irish Cancer Society. Congratulations to Aoife Twomey and Liam Colleran who were proclaimed the winners after dancing a great Tango
Membership of KMEG.
Your support is vital to Kenmare. Without your support we would not have elongated the season to the benefit of the Kenmare businesses and community. We would not have made visitors aware of the excellent range of accommodation, eateries and wonderful shopping available here in this gem of a place on the Wild Atlantic Way. We would not have been among the ten top tourist towns in Ireland. We would not have been able to grow the festivals or put up more cost effective Christmas lights.
A BIG thank you to those who continue to support the work of KMEG.
Without member’s subscriptions to KMEG there is no money to market the events and festivals and Kenmare.
