Credit Union looks for feedback from local community

Killarney Credit Union is seeking members and non-members to participate in a focus group which is due to take place in Kenmare and Killarney in the coming months.
The purpose of the focus group is to build on a research project which was instigated last year and looked to investigate areas for product development and service improvement within the union.
Speaking about the research, Helen Courtney Power, of Killarney Credit Union stated “we began a research process in September last year which helped identify areas for growth and development, the objective of the focus group is to further research these areas which will help in developing a long term strategic plan for the credit union” she concluded.
The credit union plans to hold focus groups (which are facilitated discussion groups of 5-10 people) in both Killarney and Kenmare in the next few months. Refreshments and One for All vouchers will be available for those that participate in the groups.
The focus groups are open to those aged 16 years + and to members and non-members of the credit union, participation however is limited to those who live/work in Killarney and Kenmare districts.
Helen added “Feedback is vitally important in understanding the current and future financial needs of our community and the focus groups are an opportunity for people to get involved and have their say”.
If you are interested in participating, you are asked to email marketing@killarneycu.ie with your name, address, contact number and age. For further information, you can contact Helen @ 064-6623730.
