Kenmare Shamrocks

The County Senior football league has continued apace, three rounds gone already and unfortunately we have mined nothing from those three games. Not played badly but finding the going hard hopefully by October/November we will have turned things around in the division.
In underage hurling Kenmare/Kilgarvan have been going nicely at both U14 and U12 and there wa also a great trip to Croke Park which was a marvellous experience for all involved. The mentors who gave up time to organise and accompany the team must be commended.
On the county front Stephen O’Brien will be facing the Dubs again, this tome in the league final in a weeks time. A solid performance against Roscommon, setting the Gooch up nicely for the first goal, we wish him well as the summer approaches. Sean O’Shea was Centre-forward for the Kerry minors in their encounter with Waterford, they had a fine win and we hope he has a long year in the colours.
