Féile Peil na nÓg (24th – 26th June). The Féile na nÓg is a Club festival at U14 level and this year the Kerry clubs are part-hosting the competitions. I.S.G. U14s will play New York B and Glenflesk in Glenflesk on the evening of Fri 24th. They will then play Naomh Eoin (Carlow) in Kenmare on the morning of Sat 25th. All support greatly appreciated! The club are delighted to be hosting Naomh Eoin for the duration of the competition, and thanks to all the local schools who created colourful posters to help decorate the town for the weekend. We are looking for any volunteers out there who would like to help out with the Féile games, parade and post-match refreshments! Further Féile updates are available on GAA Féile and I.S.G. Facebook pages.
U8 & U10: Well done to everyone who participated in the recent U10 game in Beaufort. Thanks to John Daly and Norma O’Connor for all their efforts in coaching these bright young stars and introducing them to the skills and enjoyment of the game.
U12. The U12’s recently lost a great battle in Division 1 against opposition from Austin Stacks in Kenmare. However, the side had a nice win over John Mitchels in their previous fixture. Thanks to coaches Alan Sheehy and Vincent White for their continued efforts with this talented team.

Congratulations.
Congratulations to St. Johns National School Kenmare who recently won the Big School Division 1 final against Listowel. Congratulations to Scoil Réalt na Mara Tuosist who won the 3-Teacher School final. Finally, congratulations to Abbie Murray, Scoil Réalt na Mara Tuosist and Amy Harrington, St. John’s N.S. Kenmare on playing at half-time in the Kerry v Clare game in Fitzgerald Stadium recently. The club were delighted to see the girls participating at this level, well done!
U14. Thanks to coaches Rosaleen Cusack, Niamh Ní Ghéarailt and Angela Brosnan for their work with the U14 side. The girls were unfortunate to lose out in the quarter-final stage of their league, however they may be back in action in the East Kerry competition.
U16. Under the direction of Sinead O’Donovan, the U16 girls are looking forward to their next outing at home to Dingle/Castlegregory on June 30th. The U16 players have also become a very important part of the senior panel with many of them putting in impressive performances in the county’s top senior competitions.
Senior. There is a break in the Division 1 county league campaign until later in the Summer. In the meantime, attention turns to the Mary Jo Curran Cup with the first two fixtures against Southern Gaels and Na Gaeil. The first round of Senior Championship also kicks off on July 16th against the newly-formed senior side Beaufort.
County Teams. The club would like to wish Kerry players Julie O’Sullivan and Ellen O’Sullivan the best of luck in the upcoming U16 All-Ireland semi-final against Mayo. The club are hugely proud of the girls. Recently the club hosted a challenge match between the Kerry U16s and our senior team. The committee and volunteers helped to host a tasty barbeque after the game on a beautiful sunny evening at the Kenmare GAA grounds. Thank you to everyone who helped to facilitate this great evening. In other news, Kerry’s U14 team are through the All-Ireland A final against Kildare, which takes place on July 2nd in Nenagh.
