The 2014 Valentia Sprint Distance Triathlon takes place on Sat 24th May (enter now if you haven’t already) and our ever-popular Valentia Training Day will take place on Sat 12th April. This year, we’re delighted to announce that our old pal, cycling coach Tim Barry will be joining us on a coached spin around the 20km race cycle route starting at 11am.. In the afternoon at 2pm there will be a coached running session with Arthur Fitzgerald, always very popular with our members. There will be the option of cycling there on the Friday and back on the Sunday and, as always, we’ll go for a meal at The Point Restaurant in Renard on the Sat night. As previously, participants will need to arrange their own accommodation. Cost: €15 per member to cover coaching expenses. If you’re interested in attending, please contact Teresa ASAP on and also let her know whether you plan to cycle or drive down and whether you plan to go for dinnon the Saturday night.
