Exciting year ahead for Kenmare Resource centre

All of us here at the Kenmare Family Resource Centre would like to send all of our warmest wishes to you, your family and friends this year. We look forward to seeing you all as we start our new year after the Christmas break.
We have a wide range of our usual groups commencing including parent and toddler, knitting group, drumming skills course, yoga class, breastfeeding support group, GROW, adult peer recovery support group, canvas club, and our wellness morning
Our low cost counselling will be available every Tuesday in conjunction with South West Counselling. To avail of these services please contact South West Counselling Killarney directly to make an appointment at

We are delighted to announce we will now have an art therapist Karena Constable working out of the centre. Appointments can be booked directly through Kenmare Family Resource Centre on 064 – 6642790.
The support group for parents supporting special needs children continues to meet once a month, and the January meeting will take place on Thursday January 12th. We hope to see you all there at 10am here at the Kenmare family resource centre.

We have a great range of workshops and programmes planned for early 2017 and all details are listed below;
Let’s Read Together starts Thursday January 26th between 10am and 11am for a duration of 6 weeks.
Momma & Baby Yoga starts Friday February 3rd between 10am and 11am for a duration of 6 weeks.
Language & Play starts Monday February 6th between 10am and 12noon for a duration of 6 weeks.
Parenting programme starts Thursday March 9th between 9.30am and 11.30am for a duration of 5 weeks.
Tai Chi for all the family, every Thursday evening 5pm and 6pm. and is ongoing weekly.
