The new Kenmare Gospel Choir got off to a harmonious start when eleven hopefuls turned up for the first rehearsal on Tuesday May 6th in the Resource Room at the Rectory on Bell Height. For most of them, this was their first time singing in a choir, but what they lacked in expertise, they more than made up for in enthusiasm!
Tracy Dolders, founder and conductor, was delighted with this first attempt at four-part harmony, “They really learn fast,” she said, “They won’t be long picking it up!”
