Eccles Hotel Glengarriff in full swing for the season

Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff has been welcoming guests to experience West Cork in all its serene beauty for over 250 years. On April 7th the hotel fully reopened to launch the 2017 season. And with an ambitious refurbishment project well underway to restore the iconic hotel to all its glory, an upcoming wedding showcase on April 30th , new General Manager Aileen Hanley and new Head Chef Nick Davey in situ, ECCLES is fast becoming the place to go for those in the know.
Aileen Hanley joins the historic West Cork Property from Sheen Falls Lodge, Kenmare where she held the position of Sales & Operations Manager. Firmly re-establishing the award-winning property, during her tenure, along with her husband Patrick (now Park Hotel Kenmare General Manager) Aileen plans to continue her success at Eccles Hotel.
Aileen and the team at Eccles Hotel will host a wedding showcase on Sunday April 30th from 12 to 5pm. The showcase will present the refurbished Ilnacullin ballroom to couples. Hosting up to 320 guests, it will be set up in all its splendour to help couples visualise their wedding reception. Some of the hotel’s newly refurbished bedrooms with stunning bay views will also be available to view on the day.
Chef Nick Davey has been busy in the kitchen too, crafting a whole series of delicious new menus, from all day dining, to Sunday lunch and Vintage Afternoon Tea. Nick brings a wealth of talent and experience to ECCLES Hotel having worked in some of Ireland’s best known boutique hotels including Tankardstown House, Dunbrody House Hotel and The Cliff House in Ardmore to name but a few.
Eccles Hotel also offers a set menu, perfect for family gatherings and group celebrations birthdays, communions. The all day menu is available from 12pm to 9pm daily. Sunday lunch is served from 12 to 4pm. Afternoon Tea is served Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm.
