Blackwater Drama Production. ‘Going for the Boat’ an original comedy in three acts, by Blackwater Drama Group premieres in O’Neill’s Hall Blackwater on Friday 19th of May and runs for 3 nights, Friday 19th, Sat 20th & Sun 21st of May. Exercise Class. Exercise Class with Shirley in Blackwater Tavern every Monday evening 7.30pm to 8.30pm. €5 per class. Everyone welcome.
First Aid Talk. Many thanks to Brian Kelly, Advanced Paramedic with the HSE, for the recent excellent presentation on First Aid in Blackwater Tavern. A big crowd attended the event and Brian covered several medical emergencies from choking and burns to anaphylactic shock etc. and how to deal with them promptly and efficiently.
Blackwater Sports. Blackwater Sports is planned for a Sunday in June. Keep an eye on the Blackwater Women’s Group Facebook page for further up-dates. General Sports plus a Baking Competition for Adults & Children & Novelty Hat Competition Adults & Children, Lucky Dip, Fancy Dress Parade etc. A fun day for all the family. Refreshments Served. Annual Outing. Annual Outing is planned for late August to Kells Bay Gardens (near Cahersiveen) & a Skywalk on Ireland’s longest rope bridge along with visits to Portmagee, Valentia Island etc
