Almost 1,450 people have signed the petition including the paper petition in the Carnegie Arts Centre and the online petition on facebook page Save our Peninsula Kenmare.
For those of you who are not familiar with this, it is a petition to Kerry County Council to secure and purchase the vast and beautiful peninsula lands near the pier in Kenmare for a Public Park for the people of Kenmare, surrounding areas and the County. W
e would like to express a heart felt thank you to each and every person who has signed and supported this important cause. Please spread the word and continue to sign. Every single name is important. Also please like and share the page on Facebook.
You can sign the paper petition in the Carnegie Arts Centre from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and we are now calling on our local politicians to sign the Petition to display a show of solidarity with the people of Kenmare, surrounding areas and the County.
