Our summer is coming to a close and the new season is almost upon us. It’s been a good summer of restored pitches, friendship and (mainly healthy) competition with Five-A- sides, FAI Summer Camp and pig raffling (Sean O’Leary will be on the pig’s back all winter). The animal according to Councillor Dan McCarthy was ‘a very unusual pig’, thanks to him and Senator Mark Daly for scrupulously policing the draw. Thanks to all who supported the club over the summer break and all who kept our athletes in shape, and we still need new and enthusiastic coaches for the coming season.
Over 120 children participated in our five a side tournament.
