This is a short course which uses an experiential group work approach and will take your needs in account. As a community, we care for each other, but we make little time to focus on ourselves and our well-being. This course will give you an opportunity to learn how to care better for you.
Who is the course for?
This course is for people in the community who have an interest in their own health and well-being, people who experience emotional distress at times (that’s all of us), and who would like to work together with others in a supportive environment to explore ways to enhance their well-being.
The course includes;
What is well-being?
How do I know when I’m well?
What helps me stay well?
What happens me when I’m feeling stressed and distressed?
What can I do about it?
And some fun, nourishing activities which support well-being.
Wednesday 21st February 7.30pm – 10pm (8 weeks) at Kenmare FRC The course is free as it is funded by Kerry ETB
