Five years ago on June 18th 2013 our Uncle, Brian Linney of Neidin View, sadly died.
It was with great sadness when we heard that his well known and much loved wife, our dear Aunt Jacqueline Linney, suddenly took ill nearly five years to this day, on a six week visit to America to see her daughter, and to celebrate her 80th Birthday.
Jacqueline has had a wonderful 10 years in Kenmare, and since Brian’s passing got back out there and settled into a wonderful community here by joining the bowls, the knitting club, and the Mothers Union Group to name but a few. She loved her Church, her home, her garden, her friends and enjoyed her new found pleasure of travelling to visit family and friends across the world.
She was one of the most beautiful kindest, sweetest ladies we all knew and, on behalf of all her immediate family who are spread out across the world, we would like to thank you all for your wonderful wishes during this sad time.
You made her feel so welcome since moving here, especially since her husband died, and she always loved to ‘come home’ to Kenmare and catch up where she left off with her dear friends again.
A Memorial Service will be arranged at St Patricks Church, Kenmare, on a date to be confirmed.
