Green Shoots start to grow

Former student of Pobailscoil Inbhear Sceine, Kloe Wood Lyndorff has returned to Ireland after years of study and work abroad, to launch an innovative new Garden/Feasts & Escapes project called ‘Two Green Shoots’.
Kloe, who grew up at The Ewe Experience in Glengarriff, and her partner Adam Carveth, had a busy winter re-discovering a ‘lost’ garden from the 1940’s which has recently been opened as ‘The Garden of Re-Imagination’. Now the venue for their regular ‘Feasts’ and ‘Events’, the busy pair will be running workshops and lively ‘Taste Tours’ all summer. The latter is an exciting 90 minute tour & taste of the myriad of edible delights in this wonderful garden, that specialises in plants that are not only beautiful but tasty and wonderful for wildlife. In support of the new venture, Benoit from Lorge Chocolates in Bonane provided specially made chocolates for ‘goodie’ bags at their opening.
Since Adam was the head gardener at Knebworth in Hertfordshire (the venue for Harry Potter) and Kloe is a biologist and environmental designer, they also offer quality garden care and down-to-earth garden design, but with a difference.
