Adult singing group classes. Fun Singing Classes (as a Group), with Killarney singing tutor Mary Culloty O’Sullivan in Blackwater Tavern every Wednesday afternoon, 2pm sharp to 3pm. The class is aimed at people who would love to sing in a group and the styles of singing catered for, ballads, musicals and contemporary. Breathing, diction, posture, confidence and more covered. All levels of ability welcome. Open to men and women. Everyone welcome. €50 for 5 weeks. Ring Tavern 064 6682003 for info.
Drama. Drama continues every Wednesday at 7.30pm in Blackwater Tavern. The group are currently writing a new play which will be staged in Blackwater in May/June 2019.
Movie Night in Tavern. Sunday November 25th at 7.30pm a comedy film will be shown in Blackwater Tavern titled Nobody is Talking to Me. All Welcome.
Kenmare Community Care Christmas Party. The Christmas Party takes place in Brooklane Hotel Thursday December 6th 2pm to 6pm. Contact Mary in Tavern for Blackwater tickets or Taobh Linn for Kenmare tickets.
BWG Christmas Party. The Blackwater Women’s Group Christmas Party takes place in Blackwater Tavern on Tuesday December 11th at 8pm. Cost €10 to paid up members. Please book by Saturday December 1st.

Joan Cashman Style Event Kenmare Bay Hotel. A huge crowd attended the Style Event with Joan Cashman in Kenmare Bay Hotel. Many thanks to all who supported the event, the businesses and all who sponsored great raffle prizes. Harvest Dance. The Harvest Dance took place in Kenmare Bay Hotel on November 3rd. Over 140 attended and enjoyed an excellent meal with wine. Music was by the Singing Jarvey. Many thanks to all who supported the event by attending, buying tickets & sponsoring prizes, and sponsors Tony Lawrence, Councillor Dan McCarthy & Councillor Patrick Scarteen. In this the year in which we have been nominated for a Pride of Place Award the Group would very much like to acknowledge all those who continue to support our annual events. It is very much appreciated.
Eileen O’Leary Social Evening. A big crowd attended the recent Social Evening for Eileen O’Leary in Blackwater Tavern. Many thanks to all who came out to wish Eileen well. She would like to thank you all for the lovely evening, cards and presents and for your friendship and support over the years.
Film Editing & DVD Kerry in Bygone Days. A Film Editing Course took place recently in Blackwater Tavern supported by SKDP and a Documentary DVD of the area, titled Kerry in Bygone Days, is being produced by the Blackwater Women’s Group with the support of Creative Ireland Kerry.
