Children’s Art Competition Exhibition
‘A Celebration of Life’
To tie-in with the World Cup, we are running a children’s competition inspired by the lively, optimistic work of Brazilian artist, Romero Britto. A total of 11 local primary schools have taken part in the competition which is on display now at the Carnegie Arts Centre. Competition winner to be announced on June 14th.
Free Admission. All Welcome.

We are delighted to welcome back John Leonard to the Carnegie with a selection of Landscape paintings.

Music – Maria Doyle Kennedy
Maria Doyle Kennedy is an Irish singer, actor and filmmaker.  Together with her husband Kieran Kennedy she runs a small independent record label (Mermaid Records) and they have released 6 albums to date, the most recent release being SING, featuring duets with John Prine, Damien Rice and Paul Brady. Maria & Kieran have begun work on a new album, the  follow-up to SING.
