The weeks fly by, and hopefully the high winds and heavy rain will have calmed down by the time you read this. We have survived!
Our spring session of the women’s group is almost over. Just the last couple of meetings leading up to Easter and then our AGM when we start planning our future. It has been a real pleasure to be part of the group. Each week the attendance has been very good and the speakers interesting, giving us plenty to think about. As I’ve said before, we are very lucky in the Kenmare area, to have the wealth of knowledge and the variety of subjects and speakers that are available to us. Our thanks go to all involved, not just now but all through the years. And remember, we are always interested to hear about ‘would be’ speakers.
We had a lovely surprise visit from Sue Robertson, who was a founder member of our group. Now living in Cornwall, most of us hadn’t seen Sue for quite a while, so it was good to catch up a little. Thanks for coming in to be with us Sue.
Do contact me if you would like any information about the group. Pat (secretary) 086 3454849
